The Decorah Public Library will be getting some new iPads, thanks to a state grant.
The $1,500 grant will be matched with $1,500 from the Friends of the Decorah Public Library, allowing the library to buy six iPads, one Nook and one Kindle.
Decorah Public Library Director Lorraine Borowski says the new technology will allow the library a good test of what types of technology the library should purchase in the future. She says a number of libraries recently have been buying iPads.
