Three-car crash on Montgomery Street leads to ticket

A Thursday afternoon three-car traffic accident on Montgomery Street has resulted in a traffic ticket for a Decorah teen.

Decorah Police say 17-year-old Justin McInotsh was following too close to the car ahead of him around 3:15 p.m. Thursday.  He struck a car driven by 36-year-old Kelly Coppola of Decorah, which got pushed into a car driven by 34-year-old Lee Jens of Sauk City, Wisconsin.

The accident caused a total of $5,500 in damages.  McIntosh was ticketed for following too close to the vehicle ahead of him.
