Holiday Lighted Parade theme winner announced

The Decorah Area Chamber of Commerce is announcing the winner of its "Best Theme" award for the Holiday Parde held on Friday night.

Fidelity Bank won the award with their 1930's portrayal of "It's a Wonderful Life".

"We thank everyone who braved the cold by having a float or attending the parade," said DACC Executive Director Nikki Brevig. "It's a wonderful holiday tradition and we enjoy hosting it each year."
 
KDEC's Darin Svenson served as Parade Chair; the Decorah Police Department handled traffic control and Montessori School hosted Santa after the parade.
