A total of eleven people were arrested in February after Decorah Police served search warrants in two separate locations in connection with meth labs. Now the final defendant in those cases has been sentenced.
30-year-old Jason Clark of Decorah had been originally charged with conspiracy to manufacture methamphetamine and three counts of drug possession. On Tuesday Clark entered a guilty plea to one count of possession.
Judge Margaret Lingren sentenced Clark to 5 days in jail, with credit for time served and ordered him to pay a total of $560.25 in fines. Clark, who was originally represented by a public defender, has also been ordered to repay those attorney's fees and to undergo substance abuse evaluation.
