If your organization is hoping to apply for a 2014 grant from the Winneshiek County Community Foundation, you have just over a month to submit an application.
Winneshiek County Community Foundation will award approximately $100,000 in grants to organizations, projects or programs that contribute, in a significant way, to the people of Winneshiek County. Grants may be awarded for human services, education, environment, arts and humanities, community development, economic development, historic preservation and other emerging needs.
To qualify, a local non-profit organization must be tax-exempt under Section 501(c)3 of the Internal Revenue Code, or a qualified tax exempt organization such as a governmental agency, school or church.
Applications are available online at www.winneshiekccf.org and must be completed through the Foundation's new online portal. Paper copies will not be accepted. The application deadline to apply is midnight, January 10th.
