Minnesota man killed in power line accident in northern Winneshiek County

A Minnesota man died Saturday in Bluffton Township in a high voltage electrocution.

31-year-old Ryan Svor of Carlos, Minnesota suffered fatal injuries while he was working on power lines in the Bluffton area.  Svor was working for Highline Construction of Paynesville, Minnesota, which had been hired by Hawkeye REC to replace power poles and power lines.

The Winneshiek County Sheriff's Department, Winneshiek County Ambulance and Medlink Air helicopter responded to the scene.
