A group of nine Ossian residents is leading the effort to raise funds to support the initial costs of Winneshiek Medical Center's new clinic in Ossian.  Pam Buddenberg, Eileen Courtney, Clark Goltz, Patty Kobriger, Joe Kriener, Terry Linderbaum, Mike Meyer, James Rothmeyer and Karl Schroeder are working closely with the Winneshiek Medical Center Foundation to raise $150,000 over the next few months through individual donations, sponsorships and naming opportunities.

The WMC Ossian Clinic project was initiated by a group of people concerned that the Ossian area did not have access to primary care close to their homes.  The Winneshiek Medical Center Board of Trustees approved the plans for an Ossian-based family medicine and rehabilitation clinic in October, with a completion date of the spring of 2014.

Gifts to support the opening of the WMC Ossian Clinic can be given at the Luana Savings Bank – Ossian Branch or the Security State Bank – Ossian Branch.  The Winneshiek Medical Center Foundation will accept donations at the medical center in Decorah.
