Police receive reports of snow plows being disconnected

The Decorah Police Department says it has received two reports of plows being disconnected from private vehicles.

The disconnection is not noticeable until someone drives the vehicle, at which point the plow comes loose and could lead to property damage and serious injury.,

Police are asking everyone with a plow to make sure it is attached to their vehicles before operating.  Anyone with any information regarding the incidents is asked to contact the Decorah Police Department at (563) 382-3667.
