Decorah School Board to tour North Winneshiek facilities

At their Monday night meeting the Decorah Community School Board formally confirmed Melanie Tietz and Ron Fadness as members, along with Superintendent Haluska,  to be the representatives to engage in discussions for long term planning with the North Winneshiek School Board. The two boards met last month to initiate the process of long term planning for the North Winneshiek School District. The district is continuing in enrollment decline and cannot maintain financial feasibility beyond a few more years.

The Board as whole will tour the North Winneshiek facilities in the very near future. The tour will be listed as a regular board meeting and open to the public as are all open board meetings.
