Members of the Luther College Presidential Search Committee held a meeting Thursday to update the campus on the search for a new president.
Board of Regents, student, faculty and staff members of the committee say they're pleased with the quality of applications they have been receiving for the position. Luther College Vice President of Communications Rob Larson says the search committee members told the audience "we're where we want to be" in the search.
No date has been set for selecting a new president. Luther's previous nominee for the position, Dr. Mark Hagerott, withdrew his name as a candidate in March. The search committee then decided to start over with a new set of candidates.
