DAR makes Christmas stocking for soldiers

Members of the Hannah Lee Chapter of Daughters of the American Revolution have completed work on fifty Christmas stockings. 

The Northeast Iowa group will send the stockings this week to Walter Reed Medical Center for military members recuperating there from war injuries.  Stockings will also be sent to members of a platoon serving in Afghanistan.  The Hannah Lee Chapter has adopted these service members.
