North Winneshiek teacher named "Teacher of the Year" by Living History Farms

North Winneshiek 5th grade teacher Kris Bigler has been selected the "Living History Farms Teacher of the Year."

The award recognizes an Iowa teacher who participates in a tour, program, or outreach provided by Living History Farms.  Nominations come from the teacher's colleagues, parents, administration, and others.  The recipient is chosen by the Education Advisory Committee at Living History Farms.  This committee is made up of educators from all levels of education, and their mission is to provide advice and input from all of the educational programs offered.
