North Winneshiek students enter pumpkin contest

Students at North Winneshiek School Kids have taken part in the school's annual pumpkin decorating contest.  Students find interesting-shaped pumpkins, gourds, or squash and decorate them in unusual and imaginative ways, then bring them to school for the elementary students and staff to judge before Halloween. Entries included a rainbow cupcake, skid-loader, beach scene, and breast-cancer awareness ribbon.

This year's winners included Jensen Korsness, Parker Hubka, Michael McCabe, Cael Wangsness, Miaja Quandahl, Jeramiah Rediske, Danielle Losen, Grace Stortz, Landen Wiedow, Ashley Nierling, Josie Ryan, Garrett Lovstuen and Caden Hubka.
