Volunteers sought to help with Community Thanksgiving Meal

Organizers of the Community Thanksgiving dinner at Decorah Methodist Church are looking for volunteers to assist in the preparation and serving of the meal.  The dinner will be held at noon on Thanksgiving Day in the Fellowship Hall of the First United Methodist Church at 302 West Broadway Street in Decorah. 

Volunteers are needed to peel potatoes on Wednesday, November 27th.  Volunteers are also needed to set-up for the meal; assist with transportation of individuals to and from the meal; work the delivery/carry-out line; deliver carry-out meals; serve during the meal; and clean-up after the meal. 

Volunteers should contact the church office at (563) 382-3835.  Monetary donations are also appreciated.  All funds received will offset the cost of the meal.
