Strong security at Macklemore concert at Luther Thursday

Thursday is Halloween.  It's also the day for the rescheduled concert by the rap artist Macklemore at Luther College.  So Luther College officials are publicizing a set of concert guidelines, to make sure there aren't any problems Thursday night.

The guidelines require concertgoers to wear "family friendly" costumes and go on to say that excessive makeup and masks will not be permitted; costume props are not allowed and clothing may not be too bulky.

Additionally, backpacks, video cameras, cameras, bags and beverage containers will not be permitted.   Concertgoers may be subject to visual and physical pat downs by professional security guards.

Finally, of course, anyone "noticeably under the influence" will not be permitted to attend the performance.
