(Ana Olson-Johnson has e-mailed the following Letter to the Editor):

As a member of the board of Toys Go 'Round, a toy lending library located in the lower level of the Decorah Public Library, I would like to publicly thank United Way of Winneshiek County for their continued support.  Toys Go 'Round is a 501(c)3 organization and United Way is a major contributor to this unique toy lending library.

We are a non-profit organization and the financial support we receive from United Way enables us to be open to the public 14 hours a week while providing low cost memberships for our members to check out high-quality toys.

The toy library is open Tuesdays and Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. and Wednesdays and Thursdays, from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., thanks in part to the support of United Way!

United Way's support of many organizations in our county is critical to the high quality of life and diverse services available to those who live here.  I urge Winneshiek County residents to give locally to our United Way campaign and to thus be part of the great programs United Way supports.

When people bring in a donation for United Way during the month of October or November, they will receive a one-month trial membership to Toys Go 'Round.  Current members will extend their membership by a month.  No donation is too large or too small!  You will be helping Toys Go 'Round along with 16 other agencies in Winneshiek County.

Again, thank you to United Way for their support of Toys Go 'Round and other fine programs in our county.  Join the United Way Circle of Caring – Give Local…Live United!  Give local, live united!
