Northeast Iowa Community College has announced the awarding of scholarships to 12 Winneshiek County residents to help pay for attending classes at the NICC Calmar campus. The 12 recipients are:
Decorah resident Erin Arney, who received the Ron and Penny Wills Scholarship and is enrolled in the Nursing program.
Decorah resident Beth Wroge, who received the William "Bill" Wermers Memorial Scholarship and is enrolled in the Accounting Clerk program.
Decorah resident Paula Womeldorf, who received the Marly Seitz Memorial Scholarship and is enrolled in the Nursing program.
Decorah resident Jada Bahls-Kargalskiy, who received the Donna R. Jesser Nursing Award and is enrolled in the Nursing program.
Fort Atkinson resident Sarah Baker, who received a Northeast Iowa Community College Opportunity Award and is enrolled in the Accounting program.
Decorah resident Courtney Stille, who received the Northeast Iowa Community College Insurance Advisory Committee scholarship and is enrolled in the Accounting program.
Decorah resident Joshua Ihde, who received the Northeast Iowa Community College Opportunity Award and is enrolled in the Carpentry program
Calmar resident Tiffany Halvorson, who received the Donna R Jesser Nursing Award and is enrolled in the Nursing program.
Calmar resident Tanner Mashek, who received the Northeast Iowa Community College Opportunity Award Scholarship and is enrolled in the Ag Business and Dairy Science certificate programs.
Ossian resident April Quandahl, who received a Northeast Iowa Community College Memorial Scholarship and is enrolled in the Practical Nursing program.
Ridgeway resident Arley Moellers, who received the Northeast Iowa Community College Opportunity Award Scholarship and is enrolled in the John Deere Tech program.
Ridgeway resident Jennifer Engelhardt, who received the Darwin and Barbara Schrage Scholarship and is enrolled in the Human Services and Criminal Justice programs.
