NICC to offer class starting Wednesday on tying trout fishing flies

Northeast Iowa Community College is offering a class on "Tying Flies for Fishing in Northeast Iowa."  The class will run for four Wednesday nights, starting Wednesday and running through November 13th, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. each night at the Carrie Lee Elementary School in Decorah.

Participants will create flies to help catch trout, smallmouth bass and other species of fish in the streams and rivers of northeast Iowa.  No prior experience is necessary.
 
Instructor Tom Murray has been fishing for trout throughout the country for over 30 years.

In addition to the cost of the class, a fee of $20 is due to the instructor the first night of class.
