Decorah man arrested on burglary charges

Decorah Police were called to a business on Montgomery Street late Thursday evening for a report of a burglary in progress.

Police say a man fled on foot from the business, but was captured a short time later.  27-year-old Evan Blue of Decorah was charged with 3rd Degree Burglary, Possession of Burglar's Tools and Interference with Official Acts.  He was taken to the Winneshiek County Jail.

The name of the business targeted was not disclosed.

Decorah Police were assisted by the Winneshiek County Sheriff's Department and the Iowa State Patrol.
