Decorah's Trout Run Trail has been attracting biking and fitness enthusiasts from all across the country. But what about those winter months, when snow covers the trail?
Starting Monday a Decorah business will begin offering "indoor cycling" year round. Reefuel, a wellness company owned and operated by Laree Schouweiler, will offer classes with ten Keiser M3 dual-pedal bikes compatible with SPD clip-in shoes, adjustable seat and handle bars. All bikes will be equipped with computer monitors to gauge heart rate with Polar heart rate monitors and magnetic resistance for a smooth and quiet ride. All instructors will be spinning certified and be able to provide detailed instruction on bike setup and safety, cycling biomechanics, Spinning Energy Zones™, and heart rate training.
The indoor cycling classes will be offered at the business' 1,100 square foot studio space at 211 ½ Water Street.
