Decorah students compete at Special Olympics Bowling

22 athletes from Decorah Schools participated in the Northeast Area Special Olympics Bowling competition in Waterloo on Saturday.
Five athletes--Timothy Bean, Toby Engelhardt, Allison Kalvelage, Erick Nelson, and Dakota Whalen--earned first place ribbons and will compete in the state competition in Cedar Rapids on Saturday, November 23rd. The Decorah students also earned four second place ribbons, three third place ribbons and ten fourth place ribbons.
