It's important for students who attend classes at NICC to get real-world experience in their fields.  That's why the school has renovated two facilities in Max Clark Hall on the Calmar campus--the cosmetology salon and a health simulation lab.

The new simulation lab for students enrolled in credit and non-credit healthcare programs at the college uses motorized mannequins to give nursing training.  The cosmetology facilities include at full-service salon where students enrolled in the Cosmetology program can learn hair styling in a supervised setting

NICC Calmar held an open house at the two facilities Monday evening.
