Winneshiek Medical Center to open clinic in Ossian

The Winneshiek Medical Center Board of Trustees has approved plans to open a family medicine and rehabilitation clinic in Ossian.

Ossian community leaders approached Winneshiek Medical Center about opening a clinic in Ossian after Gundersen Health System announced plans to close their Ossian clinic in March.  The Ossian Crown Club presented the Winneshiek Medical Center Board of Trustees a petition containing upwards of 850 signatures asking Winneshiek Medical Center to open an Ossian clinic.

A site location for the new Winneshiek Medical Center Clinic in Ossian will be announced in the near future, with an anticipated opening next spring.  Mayo Clinic Health System and Winneshiek Medical Center physicians, associate providers and therapists will provide full time access to primary care services for all ages and regularly scheduled rehab services.
