Two-car accident does $4,800 in damages

Decorah Police were called to Highway 52 and Pole Line Road on Saturday afternoon.

50-year-old Kerry Breen of Blue Earth, Minnesota was traveling north on Highway 52.  She knew her turn signal was not working, so she slowed down far in advance of turning right onto Pole Line Road.  However, 33-year-old Erin Boyle of Dubuque did not see a turn signal and when she realized Breen was turning, she moved onto the shoulder in order to avoid hitting her.  But Boyle clipped Breen's car, then hit the median on Highway 52, doing additional damage to her car.

Neither driver was injured.  No tickets were issued.
