St. Benedict School is holding its Can Mountain collection this week

St. Benedict School in Decorah will be holding its annual Can Mountain collection this week. 

Donation will help Habitat for Humanity.  Last year St. Benedict School collected 69,773 cans, raising $3,488.65 for Habitat.  Since 1999, St. Benedict School has collected 540,596 cans for Habitat, raising over $27,000.

The school invites the community to take part in Can Mountain Week by dropping off refundable cans and refundable plastic bottles at the school through Friday.  Bags and counted cans and bottles can be left near the school flagpole with a note stating the number of cans.  Your donation can also contribute to a St. Benedict student's total donation.  The top individual contributor and top class contributors receive special recognition.
