Thunder Rode takes part in program to give horse rides to veterans

Thunder Rode is a therapeutic horsemanship program for individuals with special needs.

In addition to sponsoring local horse rides, members of Thunder Rode recently hosted horse rides for veterans with disabilities from all over the United States.  The service offering of Tri-state Thunder Vets took place in Riverside, Iowa, with 20 volunteers and eight horses providing trail rides for veterans who were being served through the National Veterans Training, Exposure, Experience Tournament.
