Winneshiek County Community Foundation distributes $109,000 in grants

26 Winneshiek County nonprofit agencies and organizations have received grants as large as $6,000 from the Winneshiek County Community Foundation.

The recipients (for a list, see attachment) were recognized at a ceremony Thursday night on the second floor of T-Bock's in Decorah.

WCCF volunteers noted that they had received over 50 applications for grants.  Recipients of the WCCF grants spoke at the meeting, summarizing the projects the grants would allow them to do.
