Tickets are now on sale for the Decorah HS Orchestra's "Harvest Moon" dinner

Tickets go on sale Tuesday for the annual Harvest Moon Dinner presented by the Decorah High School Orchestra under the direction of Nicole Cody.  This event will be held at 5:00 p.m. Sunday, October 20th in the Steyer Opera House of the Hotel Winneshiek.

All orchestra students are involved, either as performing musicians or as servers.  Students are rehearsing such favorites as "Moon River" and "Shine on Harvest Moon."  The students and parents decorate the house in a fall theme complete with a harvest moon.  The staff of Hotel Winneshiek prepares a meal and instructs the students in proper wait and service etiquette.  The musicians perform arrangements the guests recognize and enjoy.
 
Tickets much be purchased in advance at the Hotel Winneshiek, 104 E. Water Street or at the Decorah High School office, 100 East Claiborne Drive.  Tickets are $20 each and must be purchased by Sunday, October 13th.  Parties purchasing a group of eight tickets may reserve a table.  The public is cordially invited.
