Decorah Public Library is participating in the Jumpstart program

Decorah Public Library will participate in Jumpstart's "Read for the Record" program by reading the book "Otis" by Loren Long at story timeTuesday and Wednesday.

Formed in 1993, Jumpstart has trained 28,000 collegestudents and community volunteers to transform the lives of 50,000 preschoolchildren nationwide. These Corps members help children cultivate a life-longlove for language and learning.

Decorah Public Library willcelebrate the "Read for the Record" event at the regular 10:30 a.m. story times on Tuesday andWednesday.
