Larsen installed as Russ Rulon professor at Luther

Luther College biology professor Kirk Larsen has been installed as the school's Russell R. Rulon Endowed Chair in Biology

The Rulon Chair honors former Luther biology professor Russell R. Rulon, who taught at the school from 1963 to 2000.  It supports Luther professors who have demonstrated excellence in teaching biology and have shown dedication to serving as an advisor and mentor to students.

Larsen received a bachelor's degree from Calvin College, a master's degree from Michigan State University and doctoral degree from The Ohio State University.
