Public forum scheduled in Decorah about the Affordable Care Act

In am effort to educate Iowans about new Affordable Care Act ("Obamacare") options, State of Iowa officials have announced they will host town hall meetings across Iowa over the next two months to share information and answer questions.  One of the town hall meetings will be October 16th at 12:00 noon in the Hotel Winneshiek.

The meetings are designed to provide information and answer questions that consumers and employers have regarding the new federal health care law that goes into effect January 1st, 2014.  It will also review information regarding Iowa's Health Care Marketplace, which will allow persons to explore and compare various health care plans that can be purchased beginning October 1st.
