City's Street Committee delays discussion of Steyer Bridge problems

The City of Decorah's Street Committee has cancelled a scheduled meeting September 30th to discuss repairs to the Steyer Bridge.

The condition of the bridge has been deteriorating.  But city officials have decided to make necessarywinterization repairs now and spend more time over the winter discussing a morelong term and permanent solution.

The decision to delay the meeting was reached because of the late date in this construction season and because of scheduling conflicts of the parties involved.
