Auditor's Office releases a list of names on the local November ballot

Want to know who's on the ballot this November in your local community?  The Winneshiek County Auditor's Office has issued a list of all candidates who have filed nomination papers to run for local offices.

Each of the seven smaller communities in Winneshiek County (Calmar, Castalia, Fort Atkinson, Jackson Junction, Ossian, Ridgeway, and Spillville) will have one polling location that will be open from noon until 8:00 p.m.  The City of Decorah will have five polling locations (one for each Ward), all of which will be open from 7:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. 

Absentee balloting will begin during normal business hours in the Auditor's office as soon as the ballots are available--probably in 10 to 14 days.
