Luther College receives $2,000 grant from American Legion

The American Legion of Iowa Foundation has given a $2,000 grant to Luther College in support of scholarships for veterans. 

The American Legion of Iowa Foundation scholarships help address the growing need for support of veterans currently serving or returning from recent service.  Luther has nearly 1,350 alumni veterans, 530 of whom are living alumni.

Luther College vice president for development Keith Christensen and Luther director of corporate and foundation relations Jeanie Lovell were presented with a check from American Legion of Iowa Foundation representative Ivan Torkelson. .
