Not enough candidates, so one Park-Rec Board spot will be filled through write-ins

The deadline for filing nomination papers for a spot on the November ballot for City of Decorah offices has passed--and only one person has filed nomination papers to run for the Decorah Park Board.  Incumbent Cindy Albers is seeking another term, but incumbent Kent Klocke has decided not to run again--and no one else has filed nomination papers.  That means the board position will have to be filled by the person with the most write-in votes.
