First phase has been completed of getting Decorah eaglecam back up and running

Neil Rettig ascends into the tree housing the new nest of the Decorah bald eagles, preparing to install the webcams.

A field team has completed stage one of the project to install cameras at the new nest of the Decorah bald eagles.

Neil Rettig of Neil Rettig Productions helped install cameras at the tree just off the Trout Run Trail. 

However, the camera installation is only the first step of the project.  Now cables must be run under the road, back to the webcam controller.  Raptor Resource Project officials say that will involve additional work, but they're hoping the bald eagle webcam will soon be back up and running
