Cancer survivors gather to celebrate their recovery

15 Winneshiek County cancer survivors gathered Wednesday night to celebrate their recovery from cancer.

Winneshiek County Celebration of Life hosts the annual gathering in preparation for its fall fundraiser.  The not-for-profit organization is dedicated to the health and well being of women in the area.  It provides free preventive mammogram screenings, Fuel for the Fight gasoline grants, and gift certificates to participants for wigs, scarves, or hats.

The annual Celebration of Life will be held in October at the Elks Club
