Two arrested on theft charges

Two people have been arrested by Winneshiek County Sheriff's Deputies on theft charges.  Michael Feddersen of Dubuque and Mark Schroeder of Decorah have both been charged with Theft in the Second Degree, a Class D Felony.,

Police served a search warrant at 2471 Dogwood Road in Decorah at Schroeder's residence.  They took possession of property they identified as stolen from a rural Decorah home.

Because of the search in Decorah, a second search warrant was issued, this time for Feddersen's home in Dubuque.  Once again police say they took stolen property into their possession for evidence.

Police say the investigation is continuing and additional information will be released.
