The work of Chicago photographer Sandy Steinbrecher is now on display through October 18th on the upper level of the Luther College Center for Faith and Life.
A gallery reception, artist talk and panel discussion will be held for Steinbrecher at 7 p.m. this Friday in the Center for Faith and Life. The show and the reception are open to the public with no charge for admission.
"The Education Project" was part of a recent assignment for Steinbrecher that took her into some underachieving high schools in Chicago that are rising to the challenge of their turnaround programs. The exhibit visualizes the inspiration, motivation and passion that the educators at Marshall, Fenger and Harber High Schools radiate, showing the people and places that have shaped their strength and vision.
