Downtown Decorah gets a new addition

The Downtown Decorah Betterment Association has paid for a new amenity in downtown Decorah.

Artist Carl Homstad has completed a new mural on the side of the Kephart's Music Building.  Homstad has painted several other murals in the Decorah area and a total more than 40 outdoor murals throughout the Midwest. He has also supervised over one hundred murals in schools.

The latest downtown Decorah mural shows a scene at the recent Nordic Fest parade.
