Decorah Park-Rec is holding a contest to name the newest park

You could be recognized for coming up with a name for Decorah's newest park.

The Decorah Parks and Recreation Department is hosting a contest to name the new park located adjacent to Will Baker Park on Pulpit Rock Road.

Name suggestions (limit of 3 entries per person) must be submitted by 5:00 p.m. Thursday, September 17th via email (parkrec@decorahia.org), on Facebook (www.facebook.com/DecorahParkRec) or delivered to the Park Rec Office.

Members of the Decorah Park Rec Board will select a winning name.  The winning contestant will receive a $50 credit to be used on any Park Rec program(s) or pool passes.  The name of the contest winner and the winning park name will be announced on Friday, September 20th.
