North Winneshiek students beat the heat

Fortunately, last week's heat wave is now a memory.  At North Winneshiek, some classrooms in the older part of the building got up to 85 degrees in the afternoon.

North Winneshiek 5th graders in Kris Bigler's class decided to spend a class period outside under the picnic shelter.  The students seemed to enjoy the "outdoor" learning experience.
