Decorah Swimming Pool begins special hours Tuesday

The days dwindle down to a precious few.

The Decorah Swimming Pool will begin special hours starting Tuesday.  Because classes are starting in Decorah and several lifeguards will not be available, hours at the pool through Friday are 6:45 a.m. until 7:45 a.m. for adult lap swim; 8:00 a.m. until 9:00 a.m. for adult aquacise; and noon until 1:00 p.m. for adult lap swim.

Saturday, August 24th, will be the last day the pool will be open for swimming.  Adult lap swim will take place from noon until 1:00 p.m., followed by open swim from 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m.  Admission will be $1.00 for everyone.

Sunday from noon until 3:00 p.m. the pool will hold its annual Dog Swim.  Admission will be $1.00 per person and $3.00 per dog.  Passes are not valid for admission.

The swimming pool will close for the year at 3:00 p.m. Sunday.
