Two-car accident does $7,000 in damages

Decorah Police were called to East Water Street Thursday afternoon because of a two-car accident. 

71-year-old Ann Ebbers of Plymouth, Minnesota was traveling southbound on Williams Street and didn't see the stop sign at Water Street.  She drove through the intersection and her car was struck on the side by a westbound car driven by 48-year-old Michael Roney of Decorah.

The accident caused a total of $7,000 in damages.  Ebbers was ticketed for failure to obey a traffic sign.  Neither driver was injured.
