Mayo Clinic Health System clinical psychologist Dr. Bridgette Hensley has begun practicing at the Winneshiek Medical Center's clinic.
Hensley has expertise in treating children, adolescents and adults with disorders such as trauma, depression, anxiety, and behavioral disturbances such as ADHD. She also provides suicide assessment and prevention, family therapy, and couples therapy.
Dr. Hensley earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Master of Science in Education from Eastern Illinois University in Charleston, Illinois. She earned her Doctor of Psychology in Clinical Psychology from Illinois School of Professional Psychology in Chicago. She has extensive background in clinical and educational settings, and has served as adjunct faculty for four Wisconsin universities.
"Having spent the past few years leading a university counseling center, I look forward to re-focusing my attention to direct patient care in a clinical setting," says Dr. Hensley. At Winneshiek Medical Center, Dr. Hensley will work with Mayo Clinic Health System psychologist Dr. Ronald Hougen to provide comprehensive care for mental health concerns and conditions.
