Winneshiek Couty charges against Wildman have officially been dropped

24-year-old Daniel Wildman of Cresco no longer faces attempted murder charges in Winneshiek County.
A judge has accepted a motion by the Winneshiek County Attorney's Office to drop the five criminal charges against Wildman.
The move comes as charges have been filed against Wildman in U.S. District Court in Cedar Rapids, accusing him of two counts of firearms possession violations. Wildman will be back in U.S. District Court in Cedar Rapids on Thursday on those two federal charges.
