Memorial service scheduled for Decorah drowning victim

A memorial service will be held Saturday for 29-year-old Eric Langland of Decorah, who died July 20th in a drowning accident at the Upper Dam on the Upper Iowa River.

The service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Iowa River Cemetery in rural Decorah with Rev. David Andreae officiating.  The Martin Funeral Home of Waukon is handling arrangements.

Eric Michael Langland was born on August 13, 1983 in Decorah, the son of Bruce Dean Langland and Shirley Faye Stee.
