Study shows ammonia concentrations are highest in Iowa

Northern Winneshiek County is not alone in having problems because of clouds of ammonia gas.

A study conducted by the Lake Michigan Air Directors Consortium shows the highest concentrations of ammonia gasses in the air are over Iowa.  LADCO researcher Dr, Donna Kenski's research shows 10 tons of ammonia per day are being released into the atmosphere over Iowa.
