Our readers help Mr. Answer Person tackle those pesty gnats

(Mr. Answer Person was asked by a reader what to do about the fungus gnats that have been pesky this summer.  Several readers have weighed in):

Al says, " Put cider in a mason jar, cover the opening with plastic wrap and use a rubber band to seal it. Stab a small hole in the plastic wrap. The gnats will be attracted to the cider, but once they enter the jar through the small hole, they can't get out."

Aubrey says, "The best remedy for gnats is Absorbine Jr. It's a liquid that's used for pain relief, but it works great for getting rid of gnats! Just rub some on your arms and neck and the gnats will instantly disappear. It's available at most drug stores or Wal-Mart.

Christy agrees and says, simply: "Absorbine Jr. works great!"
