Authorities say they will release name of drowning victim Monday morning

A 29-year-old has drowned at the Upper Dam near Decorah.

Police were called to the area around 7:20 Saturday night.  The caller said the man was in the water and in distress.

A search for the missing man took place Saturday night and during the day on Sunday.  Because of the search, both the north and south access to the Upper Dam have been closed until further notice.
